The basis of instinctive archery is to perceive the flight path of the arrow and visually evaluate and correct each shot. The problem with standard arrows is that the brain cannot perceive the flight path enough for it to be completely evaluated . The reason is the airspeed of the arrow and that there is absolutely no visible flight path, hence no visual feedback. The Alex Bow Teaching Arrow will show you the way to rapid and efficient training - especially for instinctive archery. Each time you shoot an arrow you will perceive the flight path perfectly and your brain will have enough time to take in every shot. It will help you to immediately correct your shots and thereby improve your aiming technique. Shooting these arrows is like throwing large coloured balls at the target - which you see immediately . Due to its spiral flights, the arrow travels slower and therefore the the brain is better able to follow its flight path . This type of arrow can also be used by archers who have limited space for shooting either because of safety or space – it has a maximum range of 27 meters. Therefore, it is also recommended for beginners to use without the fear of the arrows dangerously flying off into the unknown. Thanks to the “braking” flight there is considerably less penetration, allowing the use of less dense target materials. This obviously has an impact on the service life and acquisition cost of the target. You can, of course, work with the arrow and wings to improve its flight characteristics in order to improve your shot - and it is a simple process. The basic size of the feathers – the height, can be gradually trimmed, thus achieving higher air speeds and lower flight curves. Gradually, the shooter can seamlessly upgrade to standard arrows.
